Jakki CorriganAll around good experiences with Bella Montagna - We dined here three times over the course of two days. Two breakfasts and one dinner. I tried the Breakfast Bowl one morning and it was so delicious... so delicious I almost opted for it two days in a row, but I tried the scrambled egg & turkey wrap and it was just as delicious! For dinner, my husband and I started with scallops, then both had steaks cooked perfectly, and finished with a nice chocolately dessert!
Tammy YoungI walked into the restaurant at 11:15 in between spa treatments to have a bite to eat. It took several minutes for anyone to recognize that I was even standing waiting to be seated. When finally greeted, I was told that breakfast would be over in ten minutes in a very matter of fact way. Not warm and friendly. I was led to a table, given a breakfast menu and asked if I would like a drink. I requested a glass of water to start. I sat for about ten minutes with no water brought to me during that time. After then taking it upon myself to look at the website, I realized that the restaurant was actually closed for lunch! Something the hostess could have been more clear on communicating to me! After being ignored and being misled, I got up and left. Will think twice about revisiting this restaurant.
Hettie WheelerOur family chose Bella Montagna for our annual Christmas dinner get together. We went to the Christmas Eve buffet and found the staff to be very friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately two of my family members became violently ill and I reported the incident to the restaurant. The matter was forwarded to the Health Dept. and to date, there have been five parties that have come forward to report the same experience. Seems like it could have been due to the oysters (norovirus). I am very disappointed that the Management of Bella has not made any attempt to contact us to offer any apology.
Christian JensenChristmas buffet was good but not great. Felt tired and lacked variety. Was not the Christmas theme we were expecting. So much salmon and all the fish was fishy.
Geoff McKeeBella Montagna has a very high quality atmosphere with fantastic views of Bear Mountain golf course. Although it took a while to get our food, my spaghetti and meatballs was very flavourful. Their chocolate panache with salted caramel ice cream was very decadent, definitely something I would recommend. Overall, good quality food with quite a luxurious ambiance.
