chad MillerWow - one of the best I have ever played - layout amazing and scenic - from tee to green excellent condition - fairways lush -greens fast, paid $32 for twilight - in Calgary and many other places this is a $100+ course. A good and fair challenge from the blue slow 132.
Gern BlanstonDakota Dunes Golf Links is absoultly Beautifull cource well maintained fairways and quick greens, state of the art carts with gps ! A Real Pride For the Dakota First Nations People. All though Management is underated, and should be repaced, with in 4 holes the marchall told us to pick up the pace even though we had no within site behind us , and then he tells us the reason is that has to empty fairways in front of us, make sence to you me neither the place was not that busy. Plus we had 2 novice golfers with us so time was just important to us as it was for them. I do not recomend this cource for senior players or novice golfers at all.

Located just south of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan on the historic Whitecap Dakota First Nation lands at the heights of the South Saskatchewan River Valley Basin, Dakota Dunes Golf Links opened to the public April 30th, 2004. This 18-hole, full service, natural masterpiece is the Province’s only complete Graham Cooke, Cooke-Carleton design.
Dakota Dunes Golf Links is laid spaciously throughout natural sand dune formations and the indigenous prairie grasses that surround it’s edges. Five tee deck yardages ranging from 5100 to 7300 yards remove the threat of being over-powered by today’s technology. Undulating fairways with large greens will welcome shots of every shape. Whatever your ability to play, you will find the yardage and challenge to fit your game.
Golfers playing a round of golf at Dakota Dunes will experience the ever-changing beauty and character that this special property has to offer. Flora changes regularly throughout the golf season. Crocuses, cactus flowers, wild roses, yellow violets and more repaint the dune-scapes and the rugged land that frames in this golf course.
Dakota Dunes Golf Links is certainly earning the accolades. It was recently chosen as the Best New Golf Course in Canada (2005) by Golf Digest Magazine, the first in Saskatchewan to receive this coveted recognition. RCGA rated at 74.7 off the back tees and a slope of 129 from the tips, this course manages to challenge and reward players of all abilities.
Without exception, this is one of the most exciting pieces of raw property we have ever stepped foot on to create a design. Very little material was disturbed or required on completing this course design. There could not be a more natural site for a golf course than this one
