Grant Wiebe"The Y" truly is one of the main things that makes our neighborhood (Rutland) great!!
Steve BrandelAn incredible family facility that has its core activities designed to help youth grow and become leaders. Pool is clean as well as the gym (although quite small for how busy it has become). All kids should spend some time at the Y throughout their youth to teach them good values in helping others. The volunteers there are fantastic and very approachable.

On Sunday, May 28 nearly 300 riders raised over $80,000 for local children and youth at the YMCA of Okanagan’s largest fundraiser of the year, YMCA Cycle for Strong Kids. It is estimated this amount will benefit more than 500 local kids.
Summer camp registration is filling quickly at the YMCA of Okanagan, with most spaces for three- to seven-year-old kids already occupied. Parents with children in this age range are urged to secure their spots soon — which include camps for preschoolers, theme camps, aquatic camps and more — as there are a few spaces still available throughout the summer months.
They say it takes a village to raise a child. YMCA’s Cycle for Strong Kids embodies this belief, bringing the community together to work towards a brighter future for underprivileged children. This fundraising event gives vulnerable kids in the Okanagan the opportunity to participate in confidence and strength building YMCA programming such as child care, day camps, aquatics, employment readiness and before & after school enrichment programs.
