Sumon MamunGreat place for lunch and other events and of course for golfing. Friendly staffs and great food!
Scott MacLeodFriendliest staff, the course was in fine shape (and even being upgraded in areas), and the service was outstanding. In far better shape than some of the local courses (HeatherGlen, especially), and great bang for the buck considering some of the prices in Calgary.
Brooks ReinkeTerrible experience. Without going into great detail, We show up to hit a few balls at the driving range at 7:50 pm. Basically was told sorry for my luck he just shut it down! There were still golfers on the range and some still returning from their round of golf. After a very short conversation with apparently the person in charge, I packed up my bags and went to Heather Glen. I suggest if you want customer appreciation do not go to Lakeside Golf Club because you will not receive it.
Sam SammyI agreed with Brooks Reinke. I golf about 15 rounds a month and without a word of exaggeration this facility has the poorest customer service. I will tee up at ANY golf courses over this Lakeside. If you bought Groupon for this course you have my deepest sympathy. Once they know you are a Groupon golfer they treat you like a plague. Most of the time I get anxious on the first tee box but at Lakeside I feel upset because of the treatment I received when you check in. I wish the management get off their high horse and do something about their customer service. I suggest that management should tee up at City of Calgary Maple Ridge golf course and observe the customer service they provide. If you can match their service level you are heading to the right direction. Happy Golfing! Customer service - 1 star (just because I believe the management can do much better) Golf course - 3 stars Restaurant - 3 1/2 stars
Mike ChartrandAs owner of A Laptop Shoppe, I enjoyed a round of golf with two members Randy Flemmer of Fleet Safety International, a premier driving school in Calgary and Lorne Goebel a retired professional. This beautifully landscaped course is challenging and fun ,15000 steps on my fit bit makes it a healthy walk. The price is right and I think it compares to other top courses in the area.
